Confidentiality

All information about children and their families will be kept strictly confidential. Parents must understand the implications of this responsibility. 

Open Door

We strongly believe in open door policy. We are dedicated to making our center a place where you can approach your director, to discuss any problem or question. 

Hours of Operation

Kids Creche is open from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday by appointment only and dependent on capacity.

Drop Off and Pick Up

Parents/Guidance are expected to accompany their child into the center. The parent or the guidance dropping the child off must sign the child into care. Teachers are glad to assist you and your child at your drop-off time. Only parents and authorized parties will be allowed to  pick up a child from the center.

LATE PICK UPS

We request all parents to arrive on time to pick their child. If not a late pickup fee will be applied.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Whenever your child’s school has early dismissal and Kids Crèche is to pick-up, an additional fee is expected to be paid by parent or guidance.

Holiday

  • July 4th

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following

  • Christmas Eve Half a Day

  • Christmas Day and the Day After

  • New Year's Day

Meals and Snacks

Good nutrition is vital to children's physical and mental development. Our childcare menus have been carefully designed to fulfill and promote good nutrition and encourage good eating habits.

What The Center Expects From Parents

Parents are expected to bring extra changing clothes in case of an accident. Sleeping blankets are necessary during nap time and should be taken home every Friday for washing. Extra diapers/pull ups and wipes are also required. If not provided parents will be charged a fee if center should provide diapers, pull ups and wipes.

Doctor’s statement, on a form stating that your child is physically able to attend group care .

Illness/Medical Emergency

In the best interest of all children at KC and their families please keep your child home if any of these symptoms are exhibited:

  • Colored discharge from nose

  • Chronic, deep or hacking cough

  • A sore throat with swollen tonsils or glands, white spots in throat or throat that hurts when swallowing

  • An undetermined rash

  • Stomach ache accompanies by vomiting and/or severe cramping or diarrhea

  • Suspected redness or discharge from one or both eyes

  • Complaints of ear pain accompanied by fever

  • Head lice and/or eggs

  • Fever of 99.4 or higher under armpit w/o medication

If any of these symptoms develop while your child is at KC, he/she will be separated from other children and you will be contacted to arrange for pick up. It is important that you pick up your child as soon as possible. When a child is sent home with symptoms, KC asks that the child not return until 24 hours have passed without signs of symptoms. Please understand this policy is in place in order to minimize any risk of spreading infection.

Medication Administration

Our center will administer medication to a child only after receiving a completed medication release form from the parent or guardian. For each child receiving medication at the center the release form will include:

  • The name of the medication

  • The dosage

  • The route of administration

  • The times and dates to be administered

  • The illness or condition being treated

  • The parent or guardian signature

The medication form will be checked for completion by:

Director or Lead teacher.

For over the counter and prescription medications, they must:

  • Be in the original or pharmacy container

  • Have the original label

  • Include the child’s name

  • Have child proof caps & instructions for administration
